$ 90-for single figure with minimal
$ 70-for single figure, no background

If more than one piece is required contact me and maybe we can work out a discount.

Prices are for digital illustration(electronic file) and does not include text(titles)

50% is due at start, or before to reserve scheduled time.

Remainder is due upon completion.

File will be sent through email. If file is too large a download link will be provided.

Will send thumbnail and progress emails so that changes and approval can be given

Turn around is dependent on particular image and my work load at that time, and response time from progress emails, but average time should be around 1 to 3 weeks

Finally switched over to using Photoshop exclusively. I got tired of the Painter being so unstable. I'm still learning where everything is in Cs5 and the new tools I have available to me now. It took me a day to reconfigure my devices from Painter, but it was well worth it. I also have added a couple of zombie pieces that were started in Painter and finished in Photoshop. There are also a couple of quick pieces left over from Painter that I will post soon.

On a side note I have decided to open myself up for commissions. I already have a couple of people who want some pieces done for them. Visit my profile page for more info.

Useful Resources

In this section I have listed some useful resources that I use on a daily basis. Please check back occasionally since I will be adding more as I come across them.

WINDOWS DESKTOP GADGET-ACTIVITY GADGET

This is a windows desktop gadget I use to track the time it takes for me to complete an illustration. I usually work on and off on each piece, as well as working on multiple pieces at a time. With this gadget I just create an project name, then clock in and out as I work on that particular illustration. Apparently Microsoft has abandoned the gadgets platform so I have made it available for download here. [link]

MAGIC PICKER-PHOTOSHOP COLORWHEEL

Traditional color wheel for Photoshop CS3 and up. I can't live without this extension. I find the normal way to select colors in Photoshop very clunky and un-intuitive to an artist.

3D PERSPECTIVE LAYER FOR CS5

I found this useful free tool for Photoshop CS5. Someone created a 3D perspective grid on a 3d layer which can be adjusted by moving the camera view. The site is in Korean but google translate can covert most of it into English.

MYSTIC THUMBS

This is another useful program that runs in the background. It generates a thumbnail for file formats that normally just would have a default icon. I use it for psd, abr, pdf, and google sketchup models. The fact that I see thumbs for all my photoshop brushes without having to open another program makes it worth the purchase, by itself. It works with a lot of other file formats including a lot of 3-d formats.

Indeed, but for an artist that is your life a duty, thats now I see it anyway. When you grow old you will be able to look back on your art and notice you have mastered what you have always wanted to do and for me thats what I call effort and I respect people with that.

Agreed. Although I don't think any artist can ever fully master his craft. If he did there would be no point for them to create any more art, except financial. It's a goal that can never be reached, but still worth striving for. I do love looking at my older pieces and seeing how far I've come. The only thing that sucks is that I always want to redo them because I know that I can improve them. I guess that's why I can understand George Lucas for redoing the original trilogy. Although in that case I think it was unsuccessful.
