The art depiction is made dark and moodily with small streaks of hope, and rightly so. It is a truly beautiful piece with few flaws, though I'd like to point out one or two of the things in the image that irked me.
Eowyn's grip on the sword. Her hadn is a bit off, the fingers not rightly placed, with the wrist too bent. The hand does not seem aligned with the hilt or pommel.
I don't exactly know why, but the man's lips. They look... Off. I wouldn't say it's TOO noticeable, but it bothers me once I noticed it.
Nothing else, really. ^^
This piece is... Magnificent. No matter how much the tiny flaws I cannot name irk me, I'm still drawn to this piece. The coloring and shading was donge magnificently, and the proportionality/blurred distance effect added the perfect touch to this image. Over all, well done, I say!
Her hand and his lips looked fine to me until you mentioned it, now it bothers me also(the man's lips are not in the perspective same as the rest of his face, in case you still couldn't figure out what's wrong). This piece was done 4yrs ago, and at the time it was the best piece I had created up til that point. If I look at it now I see a ton of things wrong and other things I would have done differently. It'll bother me til the day I die. Sometimes if I liked the original concept enough I re-do a piece.
I never found this scene intruiging since i'm not for women in warfare (i'm not for warfare at all to put it short) but you truly did a remarkable job on this one, better than the movie itself i'd say!
