Rockem' Sockem' Robots Japan Edition. One of the first pieces that I actually tracked the amount of hours to complete. I used a windows gadget which you can add multiple jobs since I work on several pieces at a time. I then just click in and out of the piece that I'm working on like a time clock. It's really helpful because I work on and off on multiple pieces over several weeks. Plus I realized that I am quicker than I thought. 15hrs Corel Painter 12 (03-2011)
what brush did u use.. this is digitally colored right? but it's like colored by colored pencils traditionally... ( i'm referring to the robots and the children)
Its all painted in Corel Painter from start to finish. I haven't even touched traditional media in years. I always start sketching with the thick and thin pen, most of the rest is completed with the default oil brush. Those are the two main tools I use for all my paintings. I don't worry to much about brushes. I could have done the same style with a lot of other brushes. If you look through my gallery, a lot of my paintings have a different look to each of them but all were done with those same brushes.
