I'm running a dnd campaign and wanted to know if I could use the artwork to show my pcs. This was not even in my mind until I happened upon it. What an AWESOME idea. Thanks. And keep up the great work.
Holy shit. It's unfuckeably fantastic work. Those colours and angles... I don't know what to say. I have problems with drawing in simple angles and I can't imagine painting something like this. And, for the end... this centaur! He's one of the most original half-humans, half-horses I have ever seen. Keep on a good work!
Thank you. One thing that can help you with extreme angles with figures are simple 3D programs such as Daz Studio or Poser. Although I did not use those for this particular piece they can be useful for getting reference for usual angles. I actually used it for the other piece that you commented on(Admit It You'd Still Hit It). They can also help with lighting. Of coarse the best way is to take reference photos of yourself or someone else. I have a tripod that extends to 11Ft high with a remote for high angle shots. I even have a small portable tv that I connect to my digital camera so that I can line up the shot. I forgot to mention that Daz Studio is free.
I love the angle on this piece. It gives the picture so much more movement and drama. The culture in the picture is good to. Personally I think the upper portion the centuar could use a little more movement but other than that this is an amazing picture! Good work.
